More Bumps!

I was in heaven this morning doing pregnancy photos for Shahnaz and her hubby. We met at Backsberg wine estate near Stellenbosch to do the pics and we had an awesome variety of backdrops - not least of all the gorgeous countryside with flowers and long grass and even a haybarn! A huge thank you to the folks at Backsberg for allowing us to spend some time on the farm exploring all the glorious 'unseen' spots - really appreciate it! Thank you, too, guys for being such sports - I hope you agree it was worth it; we got some really great shots!

Lady in Red!

I was blown away by Marcelle's sense of style and taste! She and her husband have made the most beautiful home in Cape Town and it was great to have so many places to do pics of the two of them with their beautiful bump! The cherry on top was when they pulled out the Harley Davidson! Not knowing the first thing about these things, even I was in awe at its beauty!!! We grabbed the attention of a few passers-by as Marcelle strutted her stuff on the bike in her striking red dress! It was great meeting the two of you and I am looking forward to meeting your new arrival next month! :)

I had the pleasure of spending some time with a terrific family at their home in Hout Bay last weekend - they were so easy to photograph and I had lots of fun! Here is a sneak peek of their pics!

I spent Saturday at Moms and Babes in Somerset West taking pics of lots of beautiful people! I always enjoy seeing families coming back to me as it's awesome to be able to see the babies grow and change! Here are a few sneak peeks from my time there...a big 'thank you' to Debbie!

Tasneem is the beautiful preggy mum who features on my website portfolio...well, she's not pregnant anymore! The gorgeous Rohaan is just eight weeks old and it was just awesome to finally meet her!

It was lovely to finally meet Claire who booked her pregnancy and newborn package with me back in July! Claire and her hubby were game for something a bit different and I was in heaven making use of the great textures and backdrops that we found around and about their apartment! Thanks, guys, for being such sports...I'm sure you thought I was a little mad at times, but I hope you agree the results speak for themselves! Can't wait to meet your little bundle really soon! :)

Richard and Tarryn's wedding!

I shot my first wedding of the season yesterday and, boy, what a way to kick it off!!! Severe gale force winds and torrential rain! Definitely not every bride's dream but Richard and Tarryn's wedding was beautiful! Tarryn looked stunning, the ceremony was awesome and, against all odds in the weather stakes, we managed to get some great shots of the newly weds! Enjoy this sneak peek!
